The Polar Express is in Lubbock and we got to take a ride to the North Pole! Everyone had a great time. You should have seen everyone's face when the train started moving. Kelton was so funny because he was worried about the train going backwards on the way to the North Pole. He informed us that the engine is supposed to pull not push! He was so happy on the way back that we were moving the right way. On the way to the North Pole the conductor walked around the train and punched all of the tickets. Then they gave us cookies and hot chocolate (or bottled water). Jace and Gage both thought that they just had to have the hot chocolate, but I don't think either one had more than that first drink. I think that they were playing the story of the Polar Express on the way to the North Pole. There was so much going on that I did not pay attention to it though. When we pulled up to the North Pole there were elves dancing and Santa was waiting for us. Santa and his elves joined us on the train! All of the kids told Sanata what they want for Christmas this year and Santa gave them all a bell! On the way back Santa walked around talking to the kids and the elves sang Christmas carols with us.
Thank you Grammy for taking us on a great adventure!
I took lots of pictures so if you are interested go here.
