Soccer Weekend

We had a great soccer filled weekend last weekend. Grandma, Shandra, Airiana and Shayne came from San Angelo to see Caden play soccer on Saturday and Airiana had 2 games on Sunday.
Here is everyone (except Shayne and Jace because they were kicking the soccer ball around) on the side lines.

Caden is holding up 2 fingers for the two goals that she made that game. I was so excited about the first goal that I was jumping up and down and screaming! I was a little less crazy after the second one.

Shayne and Caden after the game. Caden got the VIP ribbon this time! Coach Dawn gives the ribbon to a different player each game. This was another one of Caden's best games and we definitely think she earned the ribbon!

There were a ton of stickers in the grass around these fields and it wasn't long before Caden had one stuck in her finger. Poor thing. Brent had to go all the way back to the car (for some reason Airiana's games were on the fields that were the farthest from the parking lot) to get tweezers and still couldn't get it out. Caden spent the rest of the game sitting with Grandma. In between the 2 games we went to get some lunch and the kids changed their flip flops for tennis shoes. Caden was still very cautious about the stickers during the second game, but she did play with the other kids for a little while.
