Last weekend we stayed in some cabins out at Lake Nasworthy and celebrated Monica (Grandma) and Shandra's birthdays. We had so much fun. Luckily, the weather was great. It was hot but it felt great in the shade with the breeze and cooling off in the lake helped too.
We set up a little blow up pool the first day and the kids were having so much fun playing. Then we were told that we had to take the pool down because San Angelo is in a drought. They would not even let us keep the water in for the day because others would want a pool too.
Everyone enjoyed swimming in the lake. Especially Shayne. She stayed in the water all day and only got out because she had to.
Caden loved her swim hat that Shandra bought her. I think that she loved having the same hat as Shayne Shayne the most!

On Saturday evening, the girls taught Caden and Kelton some soccer moves.
And then we had a short water balloon fight.

Looks like a lot of fun! You took some great pics! Did the kids like the lake water?
The kids loved the lake water except when it accidentally got in their mouth! It was hard to convince Jace that someone had to hold him and he could not do it by himself. That is one reason I was so disappointed that we could not use the blow up pool.
